Also, subdividing the generous internal spaces of older buildings into more affordable residential or commercial units would badly compromise the purpose of conservation. <BR/><BR/>In any case, the typical realtor is not the most imaginative or idealistic person and would prefer the tried, tested and easy way to make the crores, i.e. by selling maximum squarefootage, at best tarted up with upmarket finishes.
